Our partner Trees for the Future works with smallholder farmers to integrate fruit, timber, and hedgerow trees, transforming their farms into diversified “Forest Gardens” that foster improved food security, agricultural income, and soil health. Thousands of individual farmers will generate carbon removals through the growth of trees on their farms, benefiting from a share of carbon revenue and building stronger agro-ecosystems within the farmland of Western Kenya.
